In our Factory 2, where our CNC machining, assembly and warehouse are located, we are currently able to operate:
■ 11 CNC 3 and 5-axis machining centres with maximum travels of 2,100 mm x 860 mm x 760 mm
■ as well as on 3 CNC 4-axis machining centres with a travel of 800 mm x 800 mm x 800 mm,
with pallet changer and a tool magazine with 120 places to process your orders in-house.
This is followed by fully automatic measurement on a 3D measuring machine. Using the latest CAD Cam / Mastercam software, we are able to realise your requirements for you.
We are also familiar with the assembly and completion of your components. Measurement reports as well as acceptance and test certificates are a matter of course for us.

Frequently asked questions from our customers about our processes and products.
From how many pieces is a mould or tool worthwhile?
This depends on the geometry and size of the components. Large components can be worthwhile even in smaller quantities such as 50 pieces, but small components are only worthwhile in large quantities such as 1,000 pieces or more. It is best to ask us your questions directly with the details you already know about the cast parts you require.
Can you also process provided products?
Yes, we also offer the processing of provided products. To check your requirements, please send us a written enquiry or give us a call!
How long do you need from the drawing to the first sample?
This depends on the geometry, usually between 4 and 12 weeks. For final deadline information, please send us your enquiry with all the necessary requirements.
Do you deliver your products worldwide?
Yes, we deliver your castings anywhere in the world.
The metal foundry Ralf Mewes GmbH and Gestagus GEW deliver not only throughout Germany and Europe but also worldwide.
How quickly can I receive an offer?
As a rule, you will receive a quotation within 5 working days, but if you need it faster, give us a call.
Can you also take tools from another foundry?
Yes, we can also accept moulds from third-party foundries. However, tool adaptations may then be necessary.
Can you also supply large series?
Yes, of course, we supply you with the quantities you need – worldwide, according to your requirements and in the highest quality.
Can you also deliver just the raw casting?
